Present Work Status: Sérgio is working as a full-time au pair in California and has cared for school-age to teenage children.
Relevant Skills and Experience:  Sérgio’s childcare experience has included management of the kids’ schedules and ensuring they are safe and well cared for, including: driving to and from school, activities and appointments, arranging play dates, cooking, tending to their emotional well-being including resolving conflicts; keeping them physically active and off of screens; laundry and light housekeeping related to the children. Prior to this role, Sérgio was an au pair to 4 teenagers in Connecticut where he was responsible for keeping the kids on track and driving them everywhere they had to be.
Personal Attributes Relevant to the Position: Sérgio is full of energy and affable and while teenagers appreciate his relatability, he deliberately indirectly teaches them responsibility and self-sufficiency.
Certifications & Additional Skills: Sérgio has a BS in Production Engineering.
